About the event
Come out to the farm to see first hand how a small scale flower farm is run. Get your hands in the soil planting your own tray of seeds to take home and care for to begin your flower growing
journey. You will learn about seeding, transplanting, harvesting, pests, diseases, soil, when & what to plant, etc. Water & tea will be provided. Please feel free to bring your own snacks and beverages of choice. This is a laid back class with lots of time for questions and conversations.
Schedule:
4:00pm: Welcome & tour of the farm
4:30-5:15pm: Classroom time in the workshop to cover all things flowers
5:15-6:00pm: Sow your own flower seeds in the greenhouse, Q&A time
