This is us - the girls behind Painted Sky Farms. We are a family run farm (with lots of help from our amazing boarders who we love immensely).

Summer runs the flowers & workshops while Skyler runs the horse barn & horseback riding lessons. This farm is our home, home to many animals, where our passions lie, a peaceful place for boarders & visitors & a dream of ours that we work at daily to keep going.

We absolutely love providing the services to our clients & visitors who also come out here to enjoy nature & seek peace. Not a day passes that we aren’t grateful to be living this life. Not a day passes that I’m not grateful to work with my hands & my family.

And I can’t even pretend that we do this on our own. We are beyond blessed to have the brains, muscle, determination, skill, & drive of our guy, Jesse, who gets all the crappy jobs done beautifully & keeps our farm tight. We would most definitely not be able to do what we do without him.

Oh the calendula salve. I rave about this flower/herb & for good reasons. A customer just let me know that her son’s eczema is almost gone after using the salve for just 4 days. This is what keeps me going with this stuff…also that they are simply beautiful & gardening is incredible for the mind & soul & there’s no place else I’d rather be.

It’s the little things.

Planting out some sprouts today & flipped the soil block over & to my amazement (very similar to seeing a real 🌈) the roots had grown into a rainbow pattern. This made me so happy!

The tray they are on has rainbows grooved into the bottom so it makes sense but it was still such a little treat.

The girls are laying a bit more each week. Longest molting season ever over here. Also, eggs have increased to $6/dozen.

I will be closed this Saturday but will re-open on 1/25 with eggs, flowers, a new batch of tallow, & maybe just maybe the herbalicious cookie dough will be back.
